Many Kochi apartments in recent days claim to be self-contained townships with office space, crèche, entertainment centre with eateries, school, day care centre, college, community hall, supermarket, bank, ATM etc., all within the boundary wall. For those who care about the address where they live, builders are constructing some of the landmarks which will provide the special identity.
Icons like the tallest structure, biggest development, apartment complex which boast of Venice-like waterway, fountain like in Rome, landscape like in Singapore, etc. are up for sale. Bearys are building the tallest apartment building in Hebbal. At the Mantri Altius apartment on Cubbon Road, a flat could be owned only at the invitation of the builder. The choices are plenty. Look for the value addition of the design and the concept of the apartment than merely for the best bargain.
